At ROAM Dance School & Creative Arts, we offer qualifications in both GCSE Dance and A Level Dance. Our courses are aimed at being taken in addition to school subjects & further education studies. Both of our courses last for a duration of two years.
All of our academic qualifications are taught by Laura who holds a BA (Hons) in Dance and a PGDE in Secondary Performing Arts (Dance). Laura has taught dance/performing arts in Secondary Education, Further Education and Special Educational Needs settings for over 10+ years.
GCSE Dance
Our GCSE Dance course is a two year course held in a twilight setting. The course is 60% practical and 40% theory.
Taking the GCSE Dance course at ROAM will mean that students have a wide range of opportunities to perform and take part in competitions and shows alongside their learning, should they wish to, complementing their learning and providing them with ample opportunities to develop their skills.
All classes are held at ROAM, in an environment where all students are dedicated to their dance studies.
