We are currently getting prepared for our new term starting this September 2024. Our classes will recommence after the summer from Wednesday 4th September onwards.
Enrolment is now open for new students to join our school. If you or your child/teen/young adult loves to dance, then we would love to hear from you! New starters will be invited to start from this September. We have places available in both our weekly recreational classes and our competition teams. We have competition teams suitable for all levels from beginners up to intermediate/advanced teams. We also currently have places available for keyboard lessons.
Our dance school are excited to announce that this September, we will be starting our third cohort of GCSE Dance! Additionally, we are also starting our brand new BTEC Level 3 in Performance (Dance) this September which is equivalent to 1 A Level. We are proud to announce that we are the only dance school to provide this qualification as a twilight qualification in the Midlands & Shropshire area, and one of the few schools that offer this as a twilight course in the country. If your son/daughter is aged 15/16+ then please get in touch with us if you would like to receive an information pack which will provide you with further information about the BTEC course.
In our first term back, we will be working towards our Christmas Dance Show which will be titled Danceflix+. The show will take inspiration from popular streaming channels shows and will be held at Blackburn Chapel & Theatre at Prestfelde School in December 2024. Tickets will be available from Wednesday 16th October at 9am. Tickets can be purchased by emailed Laura on enquiries@roamdance.com to request tickets.
Other News…
Our school have recently formed a new World Championship Street Dance Team named ‘JET’. The team are working hard at present to prepare their competition routine which they will be taking to compete at the World Championships Qualifier in November 2024. We can’t wait to show you our new routine that we are working on! As well as competing at the qualifiers, JET will also be performing at the Opera House in Winter Gardens in Blackpool at the end of November this year.
